May 2, 2011 – Version 4 of Nexus now supports authenticating users against LDAP and Active Directory which makes it even easier for site administrators to manage users and improves the end user experience. Many organizations now use LDAP, a cross platform client server protocol, to store and authenticate user IDs and passwords as well to query and modify other information.

May 4, 2010 – BCD announced today new releases for its entire WebSmart family of products. May 4, 2010 – In a recent Webinar, leading IBM i modernization vendor Business Computer Design Int’l Inc. (www.bcdsoftware.com) introduced several new features in its latest version of Nexus Portal. Version 3.6 of Nexus offers a Google Search Appliance portlet that lets users apply the flexibility and power of Google searching and indexing to their own content, full support for Firefox users and a major revision to the code that improved page load times by up to 40%.

BCD Exhibits in Their 33rd Consecutive COMMON Conference - Hosts Three Application Modernization Labs & Sessions

March 20, 2009 – BCD announces they are exhibiting in their 33rd consecutive COMMON Conference and Expo. The COMMON Annual Conference is being held in Reno, Nevada, from April 26 through April 30.

While at COMMON, members are encouraged to attend educational labs on IBM i application modernization, BCD will conduct three such labs and sessions.
