Clover makes it easy to create reports with subtotals, level breaks, record
selections and calculated values. Clover includes wizards that step the user
through the entire process, from selecting and linking files to selecting fields
for subtotals and placement on the report. The end result is a report that runs
directly in a browser, optimized for performance and scaleability. Users don’t
need to know any HTML or coding techniques to produce Clover reports, and they
can re-run the wizard process to modify the report layout, without having to
change any code.
You can also easily design a report to accept runtime values, such as date
ranges, sales territories, etc. all using Clover’s powerful wizard technology.

for Developers
The Clover IDE is an extension of WebSmart’s powerful web application
development tool. This means developers can use Clover templates to do the initial
report design, then have available to them all the facilities of WebSmart to
add powerful web extensions to the reports. They can also add custom programming
logic directly within the reports using Clover’s powerful coding environment.
