Poll Network Directories for PC file Distribution

'Poll-a-Dir' (Poll a Network Directory) features allow you to poll PC directories to distribute PC files using many of the same grab rule features that you apply to iSeries spool files.

GrabRule Security

Grab Rules can be secured to an iSeries user profile or group to ensure that only authorized users can change a grab rule. Secured rules cannot be changed, deleted or displayed by those not authorized to them.

CC and BCC email functions

When emailing reports you can now CC and BCC individual email addresses or Catapult distribution groups.

All areas of Catapult have been given a more modern look:
- Windows XP–style controls.
- Visual indicators for the Enabled Categories in the Grab Rule Wizard.
- New background colors, button faces and graphics.

More Flexible User Options

Increased field sizes for file names,
email addresses, support for data values in distribution groups
and more:
- Increased the size of the file name field from 32 to a
maximum of 132.
- Increased the email address size for group entries from
256 to 512.
- User-defined extracted data values and callout data values
can now be used as distribution list (email/printer/fax)
values.
- Hkey_Current_User registry support for end-user configurable
Console and Poller settings.
