"Floating Trap" captures data from virtually ANY report fileEZ-Pickin's has always been able to capture data from a huge variety of reports. However, the one requirement was that the data be located in a constant position in any report. But with our new Floating Trap feature, even poorly formatted reports and other unstructured business documents, such as log files, are now easy to work with using EZ-Pickin's V6. The Floating Trap scans each report line for a user-defined series of characters, and will capture, or "trap", the data no matter where it is in each report row. The Floating Trap also deals with variable field widths. Now the data in complex, unformatted reports is easily accessible with EZ-Pickin's V6. EZ-Pickin's V6 now offers our new Address Blocks feature, which guides the user through a series of point-and-click dialog boxes to specify exactly how EZ-Pickin's is to find, capture and display data fields from addresses in your reports. Postal code formats for virtually every country are fully supported.
