Each Sort level in a report requires a separate template which you can define as a Detail, Header, Footer or Append template.

EZ-Pickin's automatically recognizes different data types so date fields and numeric fields are properly maintained in appropriate formats. You can, however, override any field attributes.

When you activate the field verification feature, EZ-Pickin's scans the entire report and examines the field boundaries. If any characters are found immediately adjacent to a field, Monarch will highlight the field to alert you that the field definition may be too short to accommodate a field value or that the field may be defined at the wrong location.

Even poorly formatted reports and other unstructured business documents, such as log files, are easy to work with using EZ-Pickin's. The Floating Trap scans each report line for a user-defined series of characters, and will capture, or "trap," the data no matter where it is in each report row.

EZ-Pickin's includes an Address Blocks feature, which guides the user through a series of point-and-click dialog boxes to specify exactly how EZ-Pickin's is to find, capture and display data fields from addresses in your reports. Postal code formats for virtually every country are fully supported.
