New to EZ-Pickin’s v9 Professional

• Database Importing: The EZ-Pickin’s Pro V9 OLE DB engine imports data up to 20% faster than before. Plus, it now supports the SQL Server 2005 Native Client, for maximized performance with SQL Server 2005 databases.
• Link to External Models: This new feature helps guarantee that the use of EZ-Pickin’s models, calculations, filters, etc. are consistent across all EZ-Pickin’s users in your organization! Using EZ-Pickin’s Pro V9, you can now import or link any model object—such as individual templates, data fields, filters, Calculated Fields, sorts, summaries, User-Defined Functions and more—from models residing on your network or SharePoint repository.
• Enhanced PDF mining: EZ-Pickin’s has been optimized for more PDF generators, plus, EZ-Pickin’s can now mine AES-encrypted PDFs (EZ-Pickin’s will automatically prompt you for the password).
• Import OpenXML Spreadsheets

Unlimited Report Mining

• Define up to 22 templates in a single EZ-Pickin’sModel (an increase from 10)!
• Define up to 256 lines for your detail template (an increase from 64) —
• New NOT Traps: Previous versions of EZ-Pickin’s trapped data based on what appears in the report. The new NOT trap feature allows you to trap report lines based on whether certain data does not appear!
• Enhanced PDF Mining Including AES-encrypted PDFs: Publish incoming text reports into PDF reports, complete with the EZ-Pickin’s navigation tree as PDF bookmarks! Adobe Acrobat® is not required for this new PDF report publishing capability. Plus, published PDF reports can be password-protected with either 12 8-bit RC4 or U.S. Government-approved AES encryption.

Summary and Table Window

• Insert new header rows into EZ-Pickin’s Summaries and combine them to create all new summary display options that meet your unique reporting and analytical requirements!
• Easy Model Editing: Open a EZ-Pickin’s model without opening a report or other data source to speed edits to model templates. Plus, test the validity of new filters and Calculated Fields without data using the Test Expression feature!

• Increased Capacity for Creating Calculated Fields or data filters The EZ-Pickin’sV9 Expression Editor now accepts formulas up to 32 ,767 characters long (up from 4,096)—an 8-fold increase!
• Improved Duplicate Value Filtering: Isolate rows of data in your EZ-Pickin’s Table with no duplicate values, one duplicate value or multiple duplicate values.
• Hide keys or measure fields in your EZ-Pickin’s Summary —so you can use them in sorts and when creating specific summary calculations but don’t want to see them in the final analysis.
• Enhanced Summary Matching Options: I nclude very specific EZ-Pickin’s data in your EZ-Pickin’s Summary using the full range of matching operators (such as >, <, >=, etc.). Previous versions of EZ-Pickin’s only allowed you to match measures using “At least” or “At most” logic.
• Increased Data Limits for EZ-Pickin’s Summaries: Unlimited length for subtotal and grand total labels, and unlimited item fields in a EZ-Pickin’s Summary.
• More Flexible Footer Templates: The struggle to mine data buried within the footer of a report is over! Trap data using any footer line (previously you could only trap on the first line of footer data)!
• Export Data from an EZ-Pickin’s Table to an Excel Spreadsheet with AutoFilter Predefined, ready for immediate filtering in Excel.
