The RDR application is used to enter details of a sale. While the entry form is fairly basic, almost all entry fields can be populated by a lookup program that is loaded in an internal popup frame. For example, instead of having to enter all the details of the customer, a search window is displayed with all the customers, the user can find the one they are looking for, and all the customer details such as name, address, etc. are entered into the form. Details can still be entered manually, or changed after the lookup, but this process saves the user a lot of time and effort, making them more likely to use the application.
